Äppelviken





Äppelviken is the first garden city built on city land in west Stockholm, the second Garden City in Stockholm after the Old Enskede.The district currently consists of a variety of new houses in the lush gardens. The villas often have a moderate national-romantic styleand many houses are covered by the green plants.


Äppelviken lies along the lake with a view of including the Great Essingen and belongs to the West Parish. So we can enjoy the beautiful water views along the lake.

Representative buildings in this area,Terraced houses, designed by architect Gunnar Wetterling is considered today to have a high historical value. Functionalism Church Västerled Church, which was completed in 1932 was called during the construction period for Äppelviken.




Äppelviken reached by Nockebybanan from Alvik to any of the stations Avenue Park and Clover Road. Bus roads in the mountain are narrow because of the geographical conditions.
